Solar thermal power plants are the most efficient technical solution for heating large quantities of water using a renewable energy source. The new generation of solar thermal power plants optimises the collection of sunlight, the storage of sufficient hot water and the usage, even in regions with a changing climate. These plants can supply at least 50% of your hot water needs and even up to 70%, thus saving you at least 50% of your fossil fuel consumption.

The other advantage of the system is that it is very reliable, requires very little maintenance and has a life span of at least 30 years.
The market analysis revealed that this type of plant is most cost-effective for water-intensive activities, especially for calf rearing, heating pig houses and greenhouses, and for pre-heating bio-digesters.
